My new desktop computer arrived in January in a very nice box. Right away it was taken over by certain members of the household. I originally wrote about it in this post.
Here we are at the end of June and said box is still in my living room. I want to break it down and recycle it but as you can see, it is still being used for other purposes.
Toys are carried in there and pounced on.
And the box is just the perfect height for getting the drop on an opponent.
So the box remains and I have to make excuses when anybody comes to visit. Oh, I just got a new computer and haven’t had time to put it out for recycling yet!
That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!

Thanks, Jet. I’m thinking maybe I need to decorate it and make it part of the furniture!

and that is the right thing to do! Cats always prefer things that don’t cost money!

The problem is having to buy the thing that came in the box! One of my cats’ favorite toys is shoelaces…. that came off an expensive pair of hiking shoes!

There is that. They have taste. It’s just that my cats don’t play with cat toys that are purchased as such. They love nice people things like fleece throws and shoes.
