Returned home last night from a trip to Little Rock, Arkansas. I’ll get to that story in another post once I am unpacked and somewhat back to normal.
The photo above was taken a couple of years ago but it’s one of the few of the trio all in one image.
Needless to say, I missed the boys while I was away and wondered what my welcome home would be. Cats don’t like it when the head feline abandons them, even for a short period of time.
As soon as I got out of the taxi I heard squeaking…. yes it was Freddie up on the roof welcoming me home. He seems to know when the taxi turns into the driveway that it is me. Sometimes even if I just go out to dinner, I’ll hear his squeak a few houses away as I am walking back home.
Frankie was mad at me and refused to speak to me… when I tried to pick him up to give him a hug, he ran and hid under the furniture so I couldn’t get to him. This happened several times so I gave up.
Pharoah immediately ran into the kitchen and stood expectantly in front of the refrigerator. He was well fed while I was away. I guess he sees me and thinks “FOOD!” Thanks Pharoah… nice to know I was missed… I think.
Update: Before going to bed I sent emails to various people to let them know I was safely home. Frankie jumped on the keyboard and sniffed my nose. I think that meant he forgave me!
So all is well in the household. Until next time.
