Yes, there was a time – long long ago – when we actually bought DVDs instead of renting movies from Netflix and Amazon. Ah, we have fond memories of those simple times…
But we have quite a good collection and we still enjoy watching those films and concerts on DVD.
But sometimes it’s difficult to decide which one to watch… Freddie the Giant Cat prefers musicals like Singing in the Rain and Brigadoon. He’s a big Gene Kelly fan. Frankie prefers rock concerts like Elton John and Rod Stewart and as he is the Bully he generally gets his way.
Frankie decides Freddie isn’t looking hard enough for his favorite DVD so he decides to delve more deeply into the situation.
Yes, there it is… way in the back… Freddie was probably hiding it there. (Editor’s note: that is not true. Frankie is always quick to accuse Freddie of wrong-doing.)
DVD inserted into the player. Frankie is checking to make sure it is the movie he wants to watch. Freddie is disappointed that it isn’t “The Wizard of Oz” and decides to go off in search of catnip instead. That’s how he handles the stress of living with Frankie.
Pharoah’s attitude is, who needs movies? I was having a perfectly good dream about mice until all this commotion started up. Really, no cat should have to put up with these roommates. They’re lucky I’m so good-natured.

Considering they sleep 85% of the time it’s amazing how much mischief they can get up to!

Think of how bad it would be if they slept less….

A friend and I just watched it and we both commented on how well it has held up over the years… and it was filmed just three blocks from my house!!
