Feline Friday – #42 – different strokes

freddie and pharoah This is the guest bed in my loft/office covered with a lovely quilt. No matter how often I straighten out the quilt, this is how it always ends up so I have pretty much given up on tidying it.

Pharoah (at right) is perfectly happy sleeping on top of the quilt. But Freddie (at left crammed up against the wall) will not sleep on the quilt. He likes the feel of the blanket underneath.

So when the bed is made nicely and looks neat and tidy, he comes along, digs under the quilt and pulls it back so he can lie on the blanket. Well, that’s my excuse and I’m not changing my story!

I am an explorer and creative person. I've had many jobs, careers and interests... everything in life and the universe fascinates me. Born in Brighton, England, I've lived my entire adult life in Los Angeles, California. A few years ago I rediscovered photography which is a great excuse to get outside and look. I'm also in the process of re-writing some of my unpublished short stories and possibly a novel. .

  1. I guess they have to make their own bed 🙂 Pretty much the same with my poodle, Dylan.

  2. Happy cats…happy life.

  3. Why your heartwarming description and the bed scene are so familiar to me … ? Lovely Feline post as always Roslyn 🙂
