He always wants to be wherever I am, doing whatever I am doing. So he is often right under my feet when I don’t know he is there. I have stepped on his big paws more times than I can count.
He lets out a blood curdling yowl that would be scary coming from a lion in the jungle, let alone this little house cat!
Perhaps I need to get him fitted with miniature work boots like the guys wear on construction sites to protect their feet! Every time this happens he runs off as fast as he can. Of course, I run after him in an attempt to pick him up and cuddle him to say sorry. But the faster I run after him, the faster he wants to run away from me. I don’t blame him!
This morning I managed to corner him on the upstairs landing. Yes, his eyes (a little out of focus) are pleading with me not to step on him again.
I put the camera down and we had a hug. Sorry, Frankie, in advance for all the times it will happen again… or, just don’t stand under my feet!
