západ slunce, غروب, Tramonto, Posta del sol, Matahari terbenam, Coucher du soleil, solnedgang, Zonsondergang, Закат, พระอาทิตย์ตกดิน…
However you say the word “sunset,” really there is no word to describe its beauty and wonder… like snowflakes no two sunsets are alike (as far as I know).
My view is across Sony Studios in Culver City towards the ocean.
After a cold snap (cold being relative) the last few days we have been back to our usual November weather…. in the mid 70s (25C).
But before you send that hate mail, tomorrow we are dipping down to the 60s (18C) and will stay that way for a few days… with showers.
But in the meantime, this evening as I was sitting in my office the whole room turned orange so I ran outside to the roof deck and was amazed to see this sunset. Maybe the best I have ever seen. But then every sunset is the best one, isn’t it?
Like they say, Seize the day… or the Sunset!

Wish I could have been at the beach tonight watching it over the water.

Looks like you loved to bathe in the warm glow of the sinking sun. Beautiful colours. It’s amazing how you can get different colours in different parts of the world from the rising / fading sun. In Africa I couldn’t get over how orange the sky became. 👍MM 🍀

Hi meticulousmick…. as much as I love great sunsets, I love beautiful sunrises even more, with the promise of a new day ahead and whatever adventure awaits!

Love your comment “cold is relative”! We hit 55 over Thanksgiving and were whining like babies! It returned to high 70s the following week while the rest of the country suffered. Gorgeous sunsets!!
